Iron Man

Tony Stark is an unrepentant playboy billionaire who inherits his father’s company, Stark Industries, which makes weapons for the US military. Tony soon learns the lessons of military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned Americans about in his farewell speech. Tony finds out his weapons are getting into the hands of American enemies when he is kidnapped in Iraq by terrorists. It is later revealed that his VP is selling those weapons to terrorists to ensure future business by fomenting conflict. Tony builds his Iron man suit using his advanced intellect and wealth of resources. Soon he is kicking ass the world over. Stark quips in Iron Man2 that he has “privatized world peace.” The government continually seeks to obtain the Iron Man suit, first by request, then by legal action. Stark doesn’t trust anyone with the suit but himself. All three movies show Stark’s genius and ability hindered by government action as he attempts battles his various foes.
