How would you know if a company was being dishonest or had a shoddy product? Don’t worry, their competitors will tell you! We’ve all seen those commercials where the company’s competitor’s product is being tested against their own (even if the competitor’s label is missing). Just look how much more that paper towel picks up than the other one! Just look at how much thicker that pasts sauce is! In this day and age companies know that blatant dishonesty or marketing gimmicks can easily be called out by their competitors. When Pillsbury decided to launch their line of pastry strudels, they went after Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts as being disingenuous in their marketing. Pillsbury ads showed Pop-Tarts weren’t as excited and delicious as Kellogg’s claimed.
