2. Cars catching fire

In January GM recalled over 377,000 Chevy and GMC pickup trucks for catching fire. These vehicles would literally burst into flames while driving. Consumers reported that some vehicles were parked in garages and soon caught fire, destroying people’s homes. IIn June GM recalled an additional 12,000 trucks; an auxiliary battery for electrical systems can overheat and ignite the car aflame.

Models affected: 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra full-size pickups, 2007-2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD
