4.Gay Marriage
The debate over gay marriage will be settled by Supreme Court and will likely be ruled that not allowing gay marriage is a violation of equal protection afforded under the 14th Amendment. The Amendment states that the laws must treat individuals in the same manner as others in similar circumstances and cannot deprive individuals of rights afforded to them by the United States. This means if states are giving out marriage licenses, they must give them out without discrimination, just as they do drivers licenses.
