10. Don’t concern yourself with the thoughts of others
There will always be people who support you and those who don’t. No matter what you do, and how good you are at it, someone will always criticize you. If you spend your life concerned about the thoughts of others you will go mad. Not only can you never truly know what another person is thinking, but those thoughts come from their reality, reflect their fears and insecurities, and are based on personal experiences you haven’t had. There is no point in trying to guess how others are thinking and feelings. And if you are pursuing your happiness and owning your life than it really doesn’t matter what other people think, either way. At the end of the day the only person who needs to be happy with your actions is yourself.
