“Entrepreneurship is about turning what excites you in life into capital, so that you can do more of it and move forward with it.”

Sir Richard Branson is a British businessman, investor, and entrepreneur. He is an entrepreneurial powerhouse, as founder and head of the Virgin Group, a conglomerate which comprises over 400 companies! When Branson was 22 he opened a chain of record stores called Virgin Records. That would soon grow into Virgin Megastores. In the 1980’s he took Virgin from a record retailer to record production when he started the Virgin Atlantic music label. Now Branson is doing just about everything. Virgin does everything from music to railways to air travel to space tourism. He has companies looking to solve global warming and companies providing mobile phones. Whatever it is, it seems Branson is involved. Easy to see why he is one of the richest citizens of the United Kingdom.
