9. Don’t speak from anger

Anger is a powerful emotion. Often, once we’re not angry, we regret things we said or did. Relationships can withstand some of this, but in general it weakens the relationship. You can apologize, but you can never really take back you words. So before you tell your boss what’s on your mind, swear at your landlord, or curse your in-laws, take a step back, breathe and decide if it’s really worth it.
