10. North America Will Become More Powerful Geopolitically

We live in an unpredictable time. The Islamists are trying to expand the Caliphate in the Middle East and North Africa, Iran is moving toward obtaining nuclear weapons, despite the negotiations and objections of the international community, North Korea is continuing to threaten its neighbors and North America by building up its nuclear arsenal, Russia is trying to drive its neighbors into full submission and reassert itself as an anti-American global power, and China is building up its navy for the control of the Pacific and flexing its economic and military muscles in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

In view of all of these threats, North America must stand united and protect its vital interests and borders. Russia is already claiming most of the Arctic as its economic zone, and China is trying to present the Northwest Passage, a sea route through the Arctic Ocean along the northern coast of North America via the waterways of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, as part of international waters. The integration of the US and Canada into a common security perimeter and defense system will help to strengthen the geopolitical clout of North America. If in the future Russia or China will try to invade Canada’s Arctic region, they will encounter the full might of the joint US-Canada military. This alone should be a good enough deterrent to keep the intruders away.

The North American Union will restore not just America’s but the entire West’s global influence. With the biggest landmass in the world, a vast array of natural and human resources, the military, technological and political power, North America is destined to become the leading global force of the 21st century.
