11 Ways the Government is Making you Poorer
Foreign Aid- It is surprising that a country $18 trillion in debt sends nearly $38 billion to foreign governments each year in the form of aid money. And while Americans may not mind helping out allies like Israel, the fact is a whopping amount of that money goes to places that are our enemies! Senator Rand Paul raised this issue in 2013, when the Obama administration was providing aid and 4 brand new fighter jets to the Egyptian government while its proponents were on world television burning American flags. Paul pointed out weapons we paid for were given to Libyan fighters and may have ended up in the hands of ISIS.
