1. Apple

In 1976 Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne started Apple in a garage in Cupertino, CA. They had 50 orders for Wozniak’s Apple I, which they had sold to a local retailer for $500 apiece. They’re initial investment was $1,500 from the sales of Jobs’ VW Bus and $250 from the sale of Wozniak’s calculator. 4 years later Xerox would invest $1 million dollars in Apple, paving the way for the world packed of iProducts we now live in.
