4. Risky Business
In this Tom Cruise classic, a Chicago teen is left alone in the wealthy suburbs with his father’s Porsche just begging to be taken out. He and his friends meet a lady of the night who sees the empty house as a money making opportunity for her and her friends. An idea the kid is initially against, until his father’s Porsche meets an unsavory fate and he needs lots of cash quickly to cover up his misdeeds. So they open up a brothel in the upscale Chicago home. This has all the basics of capitalism: need for cash, innovative use of existing resources, willful participants interested in making money by offering their resources (in this case, their bodies), and willful customers happy to pay for that service. The only part this is missing is where the government comes in and demands 40%.
