7. Michael Moore’s Armed Body Guard
The highly acclaimed and criticized director of Bowling for Columbine, an anti-gun documentary that helped to build the wealth of the anti-capitalist multi-millionaire, has angered many throughout his career. It is no surprise that the highly recognizable celebrity has a body guard. Of course, like any good body guard, he’s armed. This came to light in 2005, when he had some trouble with screeners at an airport, when he tried to carry the unloaded weapon onto a plane with him. Moore’s supporters dispute elements of the reports, but the fact remains that one of the biggest anti-gun advocates in the country is protected by a man with a gun wherever he goes. Given that Moore has said, “Guns are for hunters… and cowards,” one can only assume that he’s one of the two.
