When it comes to media giants, Disney is pretty much king of the world. As if their world renowned theme parks and lovable, fortune-making cartoon characters weren’t enough, in recent years Disney acquired comic powerhouse Marvel and Lucas Films. Not only has Disney produced some of the highest grossing movies ever and built a huge international following with their Marvel movies, they are currently producing a slew of Star Wars movies. It is pretty amazing to consider that Walt Disney and his brother Roy started it all in their Uncle Rob’s garage in Los Angeles in 1923.
