2.The Bridge to Nowhere
Alaska is pushing forward to build a bridge that will lead to undeveloped land. The project, which has shutdown businesses and leveled homes, is expected to cost anywhere from $1.1 to $1.6 billion. Even though private developers are pushing for the project, it’s the tax payer who is footing the bill. Some doubt the project will ever be finished.
3. Stamp Psychic
To be fair, Faith Popcorn doesn’t call herself a psychic. She’s a “futurist” who makes bizarre and outlandish predictions about that future. According to Popcorn, by now we should all be having our pets created via a process that would splice our DNA with theirs, thereby making half-human dogs and cats that look like us. You’ll be pleased to know that the ever in the red USPS has paid Popcorn over $500,000. Popcorn has advised the postal service on future stamp rates and a Huxlean plan to have postal workers check in to see if we’ve taken our medications.
