10 Companies That Did Business With Nazis
6. IBM
IBM build custom computers for the Nazis. Specifically punch card machines that allowed the Nazis to keep track of train timetables and the number of jews being shipped around. Allowing for an accurate record of the prisoners going to and from the death camps like Auschwitz and Treblinka. When Germany invaded Poland, IBM stepped up their game and began producing more computers, knowing the invasion would lead to millions being sent to camps. IBM also seized all profits from their Poland businesses. IBM claims that the German branch was taken over by Nazis and that they had no part in profiting from the Nazi party. Whether they are telling the truth or not is unknown, but they have made significant donations to the Holocaust survivor fund in an attempt to set things right.
