7. Kodak

Kodak’s involvement with the Nazi party began with Wilhelm Kepplar. Kepplar was one of Hitler’s top economic advisors, instructing him what to do with his money. The United States Military Intelligence called him “Kodak man” due to his business dealings with Kodak. Keppler provided Kodak with information, telling them they would “benefit” from firing all of their jewish employees. The company continued to export films, chemicals, spools, and other supplies to Germany, and claimed that shutting off the supply would embarrass the company and serve no purpose since the demand would just be taken over by another company. Kodak’s German branch used slave labor from concentration camps as well. They even branched out into the manufacturing of triggers, detonators, and other military goods. Doubtful anyone was “saying cheese” when those products were used on them.
