5. Begging the Question (Petito Principii)

This fallacy when an arguable position is treated as fact. “Because the CEOs of major corporations don’t care about America, they are not concerned with issues that result from tax inversion.” It can also be posed in question: “Why doesn’t the Republican Party want women to have birth control?” The question erroneously frames the issue and misrepresents the opposition’s argument.
